Looking for an inexpensive alternative to use as a table in your craft room? You can pick up an old dining room table rather cheaply at a garage sale or Goodwill. Add a fresh coat of paint to match your room and some cubbies for handy storage! Your craft room is what you make of it!

Are you looking for the perfect table for your craft room? Buying a finished table may be more than you want to spend. DIY! Use the inexpensive storage cubbies to provide stability on both sides of your table. Any flat surface will make do for a unique topper … reclaimed wood, a solid core door, the top to an old dining room table, etc. You can always add your own touch of paint to the top to make it your own and can even cover with glass or plexiglass to keep from scratching the surface. You can get colorful bins to hold all of your craft utensils, scissors and tools you will need to keep handy.
All ribbon spools seem to come in varying sizes, are hard to stack and keep stored. Try using a pants hanger, a wrapping paper rack or even hanging a skinny curtain rod on your wall with eye hooks to hold all of your ribbon! Having them in view helps to see the variety you have and when you are running low on your favorite color!

Try pants hangers to help organize all of your fabric in your craft room for convenience, view-ability and to keep your fabric from getting wrinkled.
