From glass, metal and stone, you can get the look you have in mind. When looking at your options always consider:
1) Any necessary regular maintenance that will be needed.
2) Cleaning … how easy will it be to keep clean? What type of cleaning chemicals can/cannot be used on the material?
3) Durability.
4) How long do you plan on staying in the home? This is always something that is last to be thought of. If you are only planning to stay in your home a limited time, the color, style and/or material you choose could deter a potential buyer if too far our of the norm.
5) Color options. Keep in mind any current color trends. Choosing a vibrant or bright color, though is trendy now, could be out of style just as quickly leaving you wanting to remodel your space again soon.
